What is Ethereum?

Ethereum is a decentralized blockchain-based network that operates on a purely peer-to-peer network.

What is Ether [ETH]?

Ether, or ETH, is form of cryptocurrency that is used to engage with functions and applications on the Ethereum network. It is the main mode of payment for transactions made on Ethereum.

What are F1® Delta Time’s Non-Fungible Tokens [NFTs]?

In-game NFTs consist of unique tokens that can be used in gameplay: Cars, Drivers and Components. A Car token can be improved by adding components such as engine blocks or turbochargers. Each token possesses its own set of stats that may affect the performance of the Car or Driver. These NFTs are limited; only a set number of each token will be created and made available to players. Tokens of higher rarities are drastically fewer in number, and as such, have higher value.

What is REV, Fungible Tokens [FTs]?

REV serve as the in-game FTs, and are used as the standard currency in F1® Delta Time. REV can be used as entry fees or received as rewards alongside NFTs.

How are NFTs and FTs different?

FTs are not unique, are available in high volume and are similar in function to a digital currency. NFTs on the other hand are limited and only a set number are created.

How do rarities work?

The rarity of a token depends on the class – common, rare or legendary – as well as the stats connected to the token. There can be as many as 30,000 of the same common token, or an item can be so rare as to be the only one of its kind attainable throughout a season.

Why can’t I see my NFTs?

Check that you are signed into the same wallet that you used when making a purchase. Once signed in, visit the “Wallet” page to see the NFTs that you own.

I don’t own any Cryptocurrency, can I still play?

Players will be able to make purchases via credit card. The auction does require ETH to bid.

Why can’t I make a purchase?

If you are trying to make a purchase in ETH, check that you have enough ETH in your wallet, and also that you are covering the Gas cost. If you are making a credit card purchase, check that your details are correct, and that your credit card has a valid date.

Bidding Guide

How to Bid

The F1® Delta Time auctions run for a specific period of time, with the end date being only extendable by late bids. Any bids made must be no less than 5% of the current price for them to be considered valid bids.

How to Bid

In the Auction page, there is a field where you can enter your bid. The currency required is Wrapped Ether, or WETH. The conversion of ETH to WETH can be done on the next page*.

Once you enter your bid, click “Continue”. Here, you can set your bid to expire if preferred, but also convert any ETH you have into WETH, ready for bidding.

Once you’re happy with your bid, click “Confirm Bid”.

You will now need to sign a number of transactions to have the bid be submitted and approved. You only need to do this the first time, for a new wallet. After the initial bid, future bids will only require the bid itself to be confirmed.

If you have an account, you will receive updates on the Auction via email.

Happy bidding!

*You can also convert WETH to ETH in this same page.
